for reimbursement by the Fire Dept. Applicants for Junior Membership will not
be required to submit a driving record.
  2. Will be required to submit to a background check. Your fingerprints will be
taken at the Resident Trooper’s office (located behind the fire house, at 33 Arbor
Way). Results typically take 3-4 weeks and are forwarded directly to the
Ellington Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. Applicants under the age of eighteen
will not be required to submit to a background check.
  3. Will be required to attend a physical examination performed by the Fire Dept
physician. The cost for this exam is fully funded by the Department.
Appointments should be made as soon as possible as they may vary due to
    physician schedule.
